Important Service Information

When carrying out a Gen4 Haldex service, we strongly recommend removing the pre-charge pump to fully drain the old fluid and inspect the pump screen filter. Over time, debris and clutch material can accumulate on the screen, restricting fluid flow and affecting Haldex performance.

If the screen is dirty or blocked, it should be carefully cleaned before reinstallation. Unfortunately, the pump screen/filter is not available separately from the pump assembly, making regular inspection and cleaning an important part of maintaining the system.

Regular servicing helps ensure reliable AWD operation, proper clutch engagement, and long-term Haldex system health.
